Drop forged link chains

Drop forged link chains are especially suitable for dusty, rough and abrasive operating conditions. Drop forged link chains are commonly used in bottom ash, coal and cement conveyors, but are also suitable for conveying grain or wood chips.

Like normal conveyor chains, drop forged link chains can be equipped with various scrapers or attachments and can also be used as double chains with flights.

By using heat resistant raw materials, drop forged link chains can be used in environments over 800 degrees of Celsius.

Riveted conveyor chains 

Riverted conveyor chains manufactured by Ketjurauma Oy have press fitting between the pin/bushing and side plates which ensures high reliability under heavy loads.

The pins and bushings of Ketjurauma welded chains are fixed to the chain links with automated V-braze welding. The shoulders of the pins and bushings ensure high dimensional accuracy and correct lateral gap while increasing the joint strength.
